About Has the Internet Hijacked Our Health?
You used to see a doctor. Now you go online. In a world where internet medical opinions are fast and often dodgy, journalist Deborah Cohen, GP Graham Easton and doctor and women’s health campaigner Victoria Kinkaid explore how online trends are transforming healthcare.
Need to focus? Want to lose weight, build muscle, or get pregnant? Advice is just a click away. With long waits for treatment and fewer face-to-face GP appointments, influencers have stepped into the breach. But what does this mean for evidence-based medicine and patient trust? Our expert panel separates fact from fiction and offers an essential guide to navigating health in the digital age.
There will be a book signing after this event.
