About Portals to a New Reality

For over a hundred years, physics has been guided by two powerful but conflicting theories: quantum mechanics and general relativity. Instead of confronting their clash, much of modern physics has focused on small details, leaving the biggest mysteries of the universe untouched.

In Portals to a New Reality, Vlatko Vedral shows how we might finally change that. He shows how quantum information theory opens radical new paths, including strinkingly strange thought experiments, that challenge everything we think we know. Does reality only exist when observed?

After a century of waiting, physics may be on a brink of a revolution as radical as the discoveries of Planck, Einstein and Bohr.

There will be a book signing after this event.
